These pictures (April ‘05) make me smile because Bailey was having a bad day and could not be cheered up. She was moping around feeling sad and only broke a smile for Janey.
Another reason why I highly recommend a HUGE age gap between children; you not only get FREE babysitting, but nothing can cheer up an emotion-ridden pre-teen like an annoying, smart-mouth, but oh-so-cute little sister.
Yesterday I painted the upstairs bathroom ALL BY MYSELF! Before Jody left for work yesterday morning he told me "Lassa, PLEASE do not start something that you can’t finish, because I don’t have time right now to be fixing or undoing or finishing something that you started."
What? He must be thinking of the wrong wife because I am such a good finisher upper of projects
And just to prove it, here are the before photos:
And here are the after photos:
Doesn’t it look cute? The paint color I selected is called "Surfer" and I had it mixed at 50% so it wasn’t too bright.
And aren’t the little shower curtain ornaments just adorable?
See Honey?! What were you thinking? I can totally see a project through from start to finish. And I did it in ONE DAY!
Yesterday, Janey went on a field trip with her class to her favorite place (aside from Toys R Us) that serves really bad pizza and has a mouse that dresses up like a train engineer.
Here she is with her friend Deanna, having their picture taken in the special Chuck E. Cheese picture taking booth.
Now Janey wants to go there for dinner every night to eat really bad pizza and see a mouse in costume.
