1. He tells you. Every day, six times a day. And even after 21,900 professions of love, you still know that he means it.

2. He gets up with you at the crack of dawn, with less than 4 hours of sleep, to "help" you walk the dog.

3. He doesn’t complain (mostly) when you insist that the cream colored towels can’t be in the same pile on the shelf as the beige towels. Individual towel colors need their OWN PILES, don’t you know that?

4. You are still his favorite person to hang out with, even if he does accuse you of being "high-maintenance."

5. He takes you to Mexico to celebrate 10 years of love. Woo hoo!

Even in Mexico, you can find Jamoca Almond Fudge ice cream. This Baskin Robbins was in San Jose.


Cabo was much like Kauai in many ways. From the children running around without slippers, to the incredible white sand beaches, we were reminded of how much we miss Kauai. Especially on our last morning when this rooster walked into the restaurant where we were having breakfast and asked us for a tortilla chip. It was the perfect end to an amazing vacation.
